Overview:
- Widely spaced, pre-configured and permanent dual TaylorMade Launch Control (TLC) cartridges position the weight ideally, promoting higher MOI and proper clubhead rotation which, in turn, increases forgiveness and promotes neutral, accurate ball flight.
- The r5 dual Type N matches the r5 dual Type D for highest MOI of any TaylorMade driver to date. This gives the r5 dual Type D outstanding forgiveness and stability for remarkably long, straight results on off-center as well as center hits.
- The r5 dual Type N has an exceptionally large, 450cc clubhead and large face with expanded hitting area, giving the driver a substantial look at address. Designed to promotes confidence, solid contact and consistently straighter shots.
- CG positioned deep in the clubhead and low, which promotes proper clubhead rotation for a square clubface at impact. This makes it easier to launch the ball high, creating a neutral and controllable shot-shape plus a high, long-carrying trajectory.
- Classically shaped, tourproven clubhead is visually appealing to players that prefer a square look at address and promotes added confidence.
Features Inverted Cone Technology (ICT) with an expanded COR zone, producing greater ball velocity on off-center hits, resulting in consistently longer drives.
